|ADULT FAITH FORMATION|
|Adult Religious Formation assists the Pastor in carrying out the work of the Church to baptize and to teach. Its mission is to provide educational programs for adults that are intrinsically linked to the Church’s sacramental and liturgical life, sacred Scripture, and Church tradition. The goal of these programs is to initiate people into the mystery of Christ through religious instruction based on the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church: Faith, the Celebration of the Christian Mystery, Life in Christ, and Christian Prayer.

|CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD|
|The Children’s Liturgy of the Word meets on Sundays during the 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Masses for approximately 20 minutes from September through Pentecost Sunday. The Presider dismisses the children after the opening prayer at Mass, and the children walk to their classroom with the adult volunteers. The ministry addresses the first reading, the Psalm, the Gospel and the Children’s Creed. One of the adult volunteers gives a reflection each Sunday regarding the readings, following the materials provided by the Church. The adult volunteers return the children to their parents in Mass at the conclusion of the Liturgy of the Word. The ministry focuses on bringing the Liturgy of the Word to children by using concepts children understand, and relating the scripture to their daily lives.
